7 Steelers nominated for Pro Football Hall of Fame 2025 class

Seven Pittsburgh Steelers legends are among the 167 modern-era players nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2025.

Each player has previously been nominated, with this being the ninth consecutive year for Hines Ward. He's made it to the semifinal round in all previous nominations.

Modern-era nominees will be reduced to 25 semifinalists by November. Then, 20 finalists (15 modern-era finalists, three seniors finalists and a coach and contributor finalist) will be presented to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee. The committee will meet before Super Bowl 59 to select four to eight people to enshrine in the class of 2025.
