The 2024 fantasy football season is past the halfway mark, but that doesn’t mean that you should wait on making trades to improve your squad, especially given the fact that the trade deadline in many leagues is coming up fast in November.

So let’s do some buying low and selling high ahead of Week 10 in the NFL as we get ready to see if your team is a contender or a pretender. Hopefully, this will help you be a contender.

Here’s a list of players who you should either trade for or trade away this week as you take a look at your lineup (NOTE: We're writing this before the ACTUAL NFL trade deadline on Tuesday):

1. WR Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals: Trade for

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (9) and wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (1) paces between plays in the second quarter of the NFL Week 9 game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Las Vegas Raiders at Paycor Stadium in downtown Cincinnati on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024.

This is an easy call. Send the manager who has Chase this tweet from expert Rich Hribar about how Chase is meh without Tee Higgins around, and then buy low on the star receiver.

2. WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks: Trade away

In keeper leagues? He's a future star. In re-draft? He's coming off an awesome game, but DK Metcalf is coming back.

3. QB Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers: Trade for

This one's a little tricky. Love wasn't at his healthiest this week and he's been a bit more up and down than we'd all like. But I think the bye helps him rebound.

4. RB Brian Robinson Jr., Washington Commanders: Trade for

He's got good strength of schedule the rest of the way and missed last week's game due to injury. He's going to continue scoring and piling up the yards.

5. WR Davante Adams, New York Jets: Trade away

Look: he's good, he's with his buddy Aaron Rodgers, and he just had a big game. That's good, right?

Except Garrett Wilson is there. And he's good too. I think you could fetch a good return for Adams as he struggles at certain points to be consistent.
