These are the 5 best OU softball performances we saw at the OU Tournament

The OU softball team's big weekend almost went perfectly.

The Sooners unveiled their new home stadium, Love's Field, which served as the host site for the OU Tournament. They began the event with a 9-7 win over Miami (Ohio) and an 8-0 win (five innings) over Liberty on Friday.

OU then earned an 8-0 win (five innings) over Louisiana and a 15-3 win (five innings) over Liberty on Saturday. But it suffered a 7-5 loss in eight innings to Louisiana on Sunday.

It marked the end of a 71-game winning streak by OU, which is the longest in NCAA softball history. The Sooners (18-1) hadn't lost a game since their 4-3 loss to Baylor on Feb. 19, 2023.
