49ers All-Pro RB limited at practice on Wednesday
Shortly before kickoff on Monday Night, the San Francisco 49ers ruled All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey inactive against the New York Jets due to an ankle/Achilles injury. The same injury kept McCaffrey sidelined for all of the preseason.
Now, McCaffrey's status is in question for Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings. Prior to Wednesday's practice, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters that McCaffrey would be limited in practice.
