4-star recruits Nyk Lewis, Jayden Forsythe sign with Xavier Musketeers for 2025
The Xavier Musketeers officially welcomed in a pair of four-star recruits from the Class of 2025 on Thursday.
Xavier's tandem of guard Nyk Lewis and forward Jayden Forsythe is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 36 recruiting class in the nation for the Class of 2025.
In August, Nyk Lewis became Xavier's first 2025 commit when he announced his decision. Lewis, who took a visit to Xavier in June, is from Gonzaga High School in Washington D.C.
Lewis picked Xavier over a list of several suitors. Lewis, now ranked by 247Sports as a top 10 point guard in the nation and the No. 3 player in Washington D.C. for the Class of 2025, has 18 total offers, including a slew of Xavier's Big East rivals (Creighton, Georgetown, Marquette, Providence and Seton Hall).

Last season, Lewis helped lead Gonzaga to a 28-6 record and a trip to the Class AA semifinals. He is a top 60 recruit in the nation in ESPN's Top 100 (No. 52) and Rivals' Top 100 (No. 57).
"Nyk (Lewis) is an elite competitor. He is a point guard who fits our fast-paced style of play, while also being able to defend the ball at a high level," Xavier head coach Sean Miller said in a statement. "Nyk has an incredible basketball background, playing for one of the best high school programs in the country in Gonzaga College High School, thriving for Team Takeover on the Nike EYBL circuit and has also competed for USA Basketball. We can't wait to get Nyk on campus."
Jayden Forsythe, a 6-foot-5 small forward from Westtown School in Norristown, Pennsylvania, committed to Xavier in September less than a week after his official visit.
Forsythe is now ranked as a top 5 recruit in Pennsylvania for the Class of 2025, according to 247Sports. He held 10 offers, including one from Butler, before picking the Musketeers.

"He (Forsythe) is an amazing player, student, and young man. Jayden comes to us from a great high school program at the Westtown School and has challenged himself against elite competition on the EYBL circuit while playing with the storied Philadelphia-based program, Team Final," Miller said. "Jayden is a smart, skilled guard and has proven to be one of the best 3-point shooters in the country. We can't wait to have Jayden on campus."
A nice shooter from 3-point range, Forsythe averaged 12.6 points per game in the Nike EYBL circuit this spring. He also averaged 9.5 points over 10 games while playing in the Peach Jam.
On3.com's national recruit rankings list Forsythe at No. 94 overall.
