4-star Bryce Davis commits to Clemson football, Dabo Swinney over South Carolina, Georgia

CLEMSON — Clemson football added its second edge rusher in the 2025 class with the commitment of four-star defensive lineman Bryce Davis on Saturday.

The 6-foot-3, 245-pounder from Grimsley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina, is rated as the No. 64 player nationally and the No. 3 prospect in the state by the 247Sports Composite.

Davis is the 14th player to commit to coach Dabo Swinney's 2025 class, which is ranked No. 9 nationally. Clemson's cycle returns to the top 10 after entering the weekend at No. 16. The Tiger class has eight four-star recruits and six three stars.

The edge rusher chose Clemson over Georgia, South Carolina and Duke and announced his commitment at his school's auditorium Saturday. He participated in the Dabo Swinney Football Camp at Clemson last month.

Davis is the second recruit from North Carolina in the 2025 class to commit to the Tigers, joining four-star Isaiah Campbell. He and four-star Ari Watford are the first edge rushers in the 2025 cycle.
