Noah Lyles talked the talk and he certainly walked the walk -- or ran it -- after taking home gold in the men's 100m race with a wild photo finish.

On Sunday at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Lyles was able to overtake Jamaica’s Kishane Thompson in the final moment to win gold by .005 seconds, officially finishing with a time of 9.79 seconds. NBC's broadcast initially thought Thompson won, but after a few moments to check the photo finish, Lyles was declared the winner in a stunning end to the race.

So much hype had been put on this race -- in part by Lyles' confident attitude and his previous feud with NBA players -- and fans certainly got the ending this race deserved when all was said and done. With the event done and dusted, here are the best photos from Lyles' photo finish gold medal race.
