Eugenie Liu has no plans to marry for now
14 Oct - Although they have been together for seven years, Taiwanese actress Eugenie Liu stated that there are no plans for her to marry boyfriend Jimmy Hung for the time being.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the actress, who has been with the actor and second son of veteran actor Sammo Hung since 2017, said that the two of them are focused on their careers for the time being mainly because Eugenie herself still has to bear the financial burden of her family.
"We both have reached a consensus that the relationship needs to be more stable, so we're maintaining what we have now for the time being. It seems that everyone is anxious, but we are not in a hurry," she said with a laugh.
Despite not marrying Jimmy anytime soon, Eugenie said that she has already started calling Sammo "dad", denying at the same time rumours that they have tied the knot in secret.
She also admitted that the decision not to get married now also has to do with her, as she is still shouldering her family debts and does not want to add burden to the other party.
"I don't know the specific number. I just have to keep on working hard and I didn't ask my family too much," she added.
