Welcome to November, Virgo. During October, Jupiter went retrograde, asking you to reconsider what success means to you. This month brings the final arrival of Pluto into Aquarius, Mercury retrograde, and two new moons. Each moon phase is associated with different occurrences. New moons, as the name suggests, signify new beginnings. The sky goes dark with the first new moon of the month, this one in Scorpio, on Friday, November 1. This lunation suggests that a new, important conversation will take place in one area of your life. It could see you and a partner talking about taking a relationship to the next level, or negotiations beginning at work. However, given what happens in the days after that, it's more likely about your personal life.
On Saturday, November 2, the chatty planet Mercury moves into your cozy 4th House. This is a day for lounging in bed with a lover or catching up with a long-distance friend on the phone. It's a day that encourages intimacy, a theme that lasts through the entire weekend. On Sunday, November 3, Juno, the asteroid of commitment, moves into your communicative 3rd House. If you're casually seeing someone, don't be surprised if it becomes more serious this weekend. If that doesn't fit, know that you could see friendships deepen, too. Also on Sunday, November 3, the warrior planet Mars moves into your heady 12th House, making this a rather spiritual day. Try to get some alone time and spend it working with tarot or connecting with ancestors.
In fact, you'll likely want to carve out alone time throughout the month because it's a pretty sexy November. On Monday, November 11, the loving planet Venus moves into your pleasurable 5th House. This indicates super hot sex, should you be dating. If you're interested in orgasms without having to bother with other people, consider treating yourself to a new sex toy. And, while we can't promise it, know that this transit is beneficial for getting ahead at work, too. The day after, on Tuesday, November 12, Saturn, the planet of restriction, ends its retrograde and goes direct in your 7th House of Partnership. If there's been someone on the periphery of your life—whether a coworker, friend, or love interest—the stars indicate that they will move from a supporting to a leading role when Saturn goes direct.
There's a Taurus full moon on Friday, November 15 that lights up your 9th House of Philosophy. Full moons are the lunar phase associated with manifestation. This is a day for expanding anything that's creative or related to travel, like finally writing the poem you've been thinking about, pitching your novel to literary agents, or planning a vacation.
Back in 2008, the transformative planet Pluto moved into Capricorn. Earlier this year, it moved into Aquarius, then moved back into Capricorn. However, on Tuesday, November 19, it moves into Aquarius and will stay there until 2043. This begins a new chapter for everyone, and for you, it's especially focused on self-care. Being selfish gets a bad rap. However, it really is important to take care of yourself before trying to save the rest of the world. The next two decades should emphasize putting your needs first, Virgo.
On a more immediate level, the sun moves into bold Sagittarius on Thursday, November 21. This time of year is associated with the holiday season, and indeed, the sun is now in your 4th House of Home and Family, indicating that it's a lovely time to connect with friends and loved ones. However, remember that you are the hermit of the zodiac, so you do need to schedule in alone time to rest and recharge after seeing others.
Mercury retrograde usually isn't associated with fun, but it is an opportunity.
Shortly after Sag season begins, Mercury goes retrograde, starting on Monday, November 25. This indicates the usual travel delays, communication mishaps, and chance that exes may slide into your DMs. Mercury retrograde usually isn't associated with fun, but it is an opportunity. Use it as an excuse to spend less time on social media, further prioritizing your mental well-being and living mindfully.
The second new moon of the month arrives on Saturday, November 30, this time in your cozy 4th House. It's the perfect day for reading in bed or enjoying being lazy in front of the TV. It's also the weekend after Thanksgiving, should you celebrate, so you likely will be in the mood to recharge after seeing family. Enjoy, Virgo, and we'll see you in December.
