As an elder millennial on TikTok, I live by a strict code of conduct: I never make content and I never watch dance videos. Although I was initially resistant to create an account on the app, it has become a go-to source of both entertainment and knowledge — and it somehow knows I’m in my 30s.
While scrolling TikTok, I’ve learned a ton of great cleaning tips and watched product reviews before, but the latest has given me going to Disney World level of excitement. Cleaning was my go-to coping mechanism during quarantine, so I spent quite a bit of time watching TikTok videos of people using the Little Green before I decided to order my own. Read on for everything you need to know.

First impressions
It took about a week for my Little Green to arrive, but I was eager to get cleaning and try it out. The Little Green was super easy to assemble — you just have to unbox and attach the stain brush attachment. To use, all I had to do was fill up the designated container with hot water (not boiling) and add cleaning solution, plug the Little Green in and get to work.
Based on reviews, I knew that the Little Green would pick up any pet hair so I vacuumed the area rug in our living room before I began spot cleaning. The machine is fairly loud, but easy to use. I was able to spray the solution on the carpet, scrub each area with the brush and dirt, dust and debris begin to fill inside the empty disposal tank.

It’s a lot of elbow grease for a thick pile carpet, but I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to clean our woven fabric couches. The couch and love seat are definitely where I noticed the most results. The disposal tank filled easily despite looking clean to the eye. It only took a few passes with the brush and our furniture was dry to the touch within a few hours.

The verdict
I enjoyed using my Little Green to clean our furniture and I will definitely be adding it as a tool in my deep cleaning arsenal every few weeks. It’s satisfying to see the results in the disposal tank, and very easy to empty, refill your clean water and solution and continue cleaning.
The most challenging part is that your Little Green will pick up pet hair, even after vacuuming, so you have to flush out your brush after use to avoid any clogging.
I do wish I had ordered the pro-heat version (which is also on sale!), so that the water will consistently stay warm, but it is more expensive, and it doesn’t take a lot of effort to refill the clean water tank with hot water between jobs.
All in all, it’s a great tool for deep cleaning high traffic areas and something that goes the extra mile to ensure your furniture and rugs stay looking their best for years to come.
