The image shows two people, a woman and a man, walking their dogs along a paved path. The path leads out of a shadowy, arched passageway into a bright, golden sunset. Both figures are in silhouette against the setting sun. Behind them, the sky is a mix of orange, pink and blue.

Elspeth Mitchell got a lovely view of a comet on a cold evening in Montgarrie, Aberdeenshire. She said she "couldn't stop looking at it even when our hands and feet were frozen!". [Elspeth Mitchell]
