Paulina Porizkova is showing love for her girlfriends.
On Wednesday, the 57-year-old took to Instagram to open up about women friendships with her 973,000 followers.
In the post, the supermodel shared a photo of her at a New York screening of "Maybe I Do," an upcoming rom-com starring Emma Roberts, Richard Gere, Diane Keaton and Susan Sarandon. To walk the red carpet, the star rocked black leather rag & bone pants, a black V-neck top, and "15-year-old" Marc Jacobs kicks.
On the second slide, the mother-of-two shared a snap of her alongside several "amazing ladies" including Geneva Carr, Delilah Napier and Candace Bushnell, the writer of Sex and the City.
In the caption, the former "America's Next Top Model" judge got real about meeting women and how it makes her feel.
"These days, when I go out, my joy is in meeting women. When I was younger, it was all about the male glance which validated that I was desirable," she penned. "Today, I only need the validation of desire from one partner, the one I desire. A compliment from a woman is what really makes my heart soar."
The bombshell went on to explain how the women in her life make her feel "safe."
"The support of the women around me has become my safe space. My girlfriends, old and new, are making my life rich with connections, understanding and love," she revealed. "I sometimes marvel at this new world. It’s the world of maturity, of generosity, of wisdom. Instead of competing with one another — as well-seasoned women — we now get to support and hold one another."
In the comments, fans gushed over Porizkova's "important" caption and shared their love for women.
"This is such an important message and really inspiring to see you boosting women up!" commented a follower.
"Nothing like the power of women supporting women," shared someone else.
"Yes, sister! Don’t know what I’d do without the wonderful women in my life!" agreed a fan.
"Women need to be kinder to each other. Life is hard enough and we should all lift each other up. Thank you for bringing attention to this," added another.
In August, the starlet showed her appreciation for the women she's worked with throughout her modelling career.
On Instagram, Porizkova shared a video highlighting the female photographers she's worked with over the years, as well as behind-the-scenes moments she experienced with her friend, Jill Greenberg.
"My modelling career has now spanned 42 years. And I can safely say that in the last two years, I’ve worked with more women photographers than in previous forty combined," Porizkova penned in her caption. "Shooting with a woman feels different."
"With a man behind the camera, you aim to seduce. I’m not talking about literal seduction, but a sort of play where you want to feel desired — even as an object. With a woman, it’s more like playing dress up; a sense of sharing yourself rather than objectifying yourself," she added.
