Emma Roberts is a 'pure beauty' in red sheer gown for New York 'Maybe I Do' screening
The actress, 31, stunned at a New York screening of her upcoming rom-com, "Maybe I Do."
Emma Roberts is going bold.
The 31-year-old actress looked stunning at a New York screening for her upcoming rom-com film, "Maybe I Do," where she stars alongside Richard Gere, Diane Keaton and Susan Sarandon, and reunites with "Holidate" co-star Luke Bracey.
For her appearance, Roberts rocked a sheer one-shoulder red gown that featured several buttons running down the centre and a chiffon-like skirt that flowed to her ankles. The "Scream Queens" alum paired the look with red open-toe ankle-strap heels, as well as a bright red lip.
Roberts also took to Instagram on Wednesday to show off the look. For her fans, she posted a candid snap of herself sitting down in the dress and putting her shoes on, as well as a selfie showing off her glamorous makeup.
"Last night celebrating 'Maybe I Do,'" Roberts captioned her post, while noting the film releases in theatres on Jan. 27.
Fans showed their love for Roberts in the comments of the post, with many taking note of her bright look for the evening.
"Lady in red," one person commented, alongside two red heart emojis.
"I love this dress," someone else added.
"Excited for this one!" one fan raved.
"Looking great in red runs in the family, I see," someone replied, hinting at the iconic red dress Emma's aunt, Julia Roberts, wore in "Pretty Woman."
"Pure beauty," someone else mentioned.
"Looking gorgeous and can't wait to go see it!" a fan penned, along with three red heart emojis.
Roberts was joined on the red carpet with her "Maybe I Do" co-stars Susan Sarandon and Richard Gere. She also posed for photos with the film's director and writer, Michael Jacobs, as well as producer Vincent Newman.
Talking to the Associated Press during the event, Roberts showed major love for her fellow cast.
"I saw 'Runaway Bride' and, obviously, 'Pretty Woman,' and so to have [Gere] be playing my dad now, it feels like it's full circle in the Roberts family," she noted. "It somehow makes perfect sense.
"I was just honoured to share a screen with Diane Keaton and Susan Sarandon. I mean, they've been in some of my favourite movies that I've watched so many times over my life, and so to get to work with them, they were so giving and fun and they still got so much joy out of the work."
