It’s officially become cold enough to where I wake up shivering and searching for the “on” button on my space heater from under the bedcovers. In truth, there are few things I enjoy about the chilly fall and winter seasons, but one of the things I do look forward to is a reason to finally break out my cozy bedding. A warm comforter and faux fur blanket are essentials in my room, but I also like to keep a fluffy blanket easily accessible in multiple areas of my home: on the sofa, near the bookcase, and in the linen closet, of course. The great thing is, you don’t have to splurge in order to get a warm throw blanket that’ll keep you snug during the cooler months. In fact, the more low-maintenance, the better because you’ll want to use it every day, anyway.

In my opinion, the perfect cold-weather blanket is one like Bedsure’s ribbed fleece throw. Bedsure actually makes the comforter that I never want to take off of my bed, so I’m convinced this covering is just as good. In fact, I might just order it during my next Amazon purchase. It’s only $12! Considering its low price, you might as well grab one.

What Is the Bedsure Throw Blanket?

Amazon shoppers purchased the Bedsure throw more than 10,000 times in the past month; when you consider how soft and fitting it is for every season, it’s no surprise why. Reviewers describe the blanket as being more lightweight than they expected. It looks quite thick because of its jumbo-ribbed design (which is definitely having a moment, I might add), but you’ll find it to be more of a light-to-medium thickness that makes it perfect for layering. The blanket is made from polyester, so it’s machine-washable, and multiple reviewers emphasized that it doesn’t pill after washing. Additionally, this find comes in eight sizes, so whether you want a twin-sized covering for the couch or a larger size for your California king bed, you’ll be able to order it. Bedsure is also popular because of its wide color offerings, so, naturally, the throw comes in a slew of pretty shades — 25, to be exact. You can stick with classic off-white, or try a color like crystal pink or cypress. If you’re having trouble settling on just one, you can get them both, seeing as how the blanket is so affordable!

What Amazon Reviewers Are Saying

Average Rating: 4.6/5

“I tried several different soft, fuzzy blankets for my daughter to take to college. As soon as I would wash them, they always had fuzz balls that got everywhere. I thought I would give this one a try, and I’m glad I did! It washes well, no fuzz balls, and super soft. It is a tad bit thin, but we weren’t going for a super thick blanket, so it’s perfect for her.” — Suszanne

“I absolutely love this blanket. It is very soft and comfortable. It’s good quality; I’m going to buy another one because everybody always fights over who’s going to get that blanket on the couch!” — Heidi

“Blanket is so so so soft and very large… I have washed and dried the blanket, and it still feels brand-new with no shedding. The blanket is ideal for summer, keeping you cozy but not toooo hot, and when it cools off, I use this blanket with one over it. It’s the perfect size and weight.” — Kennedy

The Bedsure throw is always budget-friendly, as it retails for $16 at full price. But now that it’s selling for just $12, it’s an even bigger steal. Get one for yourself, and maybe buy a second and third to gift this holiday season. I have a feeling you’ll never want to take it off your sofa, even when summer rolls around.
