The LACMA Art + Film Gala 2024: The 10 best dressed
The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) Art + Film Gala saw a star-studded red carpet over the weekend, including everyone from Kim Kardashian and Greta Lee to Kaia Gerber and Cara Delevingne.
Many of the celebrities in attendance were dressed to the nines in Gucci, the presenting sponsor of the gala. However, we also saw some elegant looks courtesy of Saint Laurent and The Row, as well as a few archival looks, and one very famous piece of vintage jewellery.
Below, we round up our 10 favourite looks from the starry evening. For more best dressed celebrities from the month, head this way.
Greta Lee in The Row
We can always count on Greta Lee to pull it out of the bag – and she certainly did this weekend in the most beautifully simple black gown by The Row, which featured origami-inspired folds and an off-the-shoulder neckline.
Emily Ratajkowski in archival Donna Karen
Emily Ratajkowski dipped into the Donna Karen archives for her look, which was a brown silk dress with a velvet skirt. She teamed it with Old Hollywood waves and vampy eye make-up.
Sarah Paulson in Altuzarra
Sarah Paulson looked the best she ever has in a beautiful two-tone structured dress by Altuzarra, pairing it with a bold red lip and statement earrings.
Kaia Gerber in Gucci
Kaia Gerber was one of many stars to wear Gucci to the event, choosing a sequinned, feathered column gown in green for the occasion.
Blake Lively in Tamara Ralph
Blake Lively looked like Serena Van Der Woodsen for the evening, wearing a slinky mini dress by Tamara Ralph with a voluminous orange shawl.
Cara Delevingne in Gucci
We loved Cara Delevingne's gothic look for the gala. The model chose a black gown with cut-out detail at the waist and a beautiful cape – teaming it with a slick updo that showed off her new fringe.
Sofia Richie Grainge in Saint Laurent
Sofia Richie Grainge chose a slinky brown jersey dress by Saint Laurent with lots of chunky jewellery for the event.
Charli XCX in Gucci
Charli XCX brought some glamour to proceedings in a heavily embellished two-piece by Gucci in the form of a silver crop top and a low-waisted skirt.
Viola Davis in Gucci
Viola Davis also go the sequin memo. The actress chose a black glittery dress by the fashion house, which featured a low-cut neckline, a caped detail and a train.
Mia Goth in Gucci
Mia Goth wore the colour of the season, burgundy, in the form of a Gucci column dress with side-slit detail.
