Avril Lavigne is showing off her country music side.
On Monday, the Canadian pop-punk icon took to Instagram with footage from CMA Fest 2023, where she gave a surprise performance alongside country music star Miranda Lambert.
In the snaps, the unexpected duo posed in matching, tassel-clad, black and hot pink outfits after sharing a stage at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn..
Lambert shocked fans after inviting her new "bestie" to perform their respective early-2000s hits, "Sk8er Boi" and "Kerosene."
The "Complicated" singer stayed true to her signature pop-punk style roots, donning a leather jacket, combat boots and dramatic smokey eye makeup.
"CMA Fest 'Kerosene' x 'Sk8er Boi,'" Lavigne captioned the post.
In the comments, fans praised the two singers for joining forces, swooned over their "adorable" matching ensembles and encouraged the pair to collaborate.
"Country Avril is coming!" an Instagram user penned, while another chimed in, "Icons!"
"The matching outfits are literally so adorable," another fan shared. "This is the collab I didn't know I needed. What's funny is even though you're from different genres, there are so many obvious similarities about why this friendship works. Both blonde and bad—AF. Two queens!"
"We need country Avril," someone wrote.
One person added: "Both so stunning!"
"Queen slays every music genre," another commented.
Last month, fans sounded off about Lavigne's "new style era" after she shared another stunning set of photos on Instagram amid her European tour.
The songstress posed in front of a sheet of metal in an all-black leather ensemble that included a belted pleated mini skirt, a collared racing jacket and a pair of studded stiletto boots.
"We back in the UK," she captioned the post with a British flag emoji.
"I'm absolutely loving your new style era. Such a slay," an Instagram user commented. "This style of yours is so perfect. Is it some spoiler of a new era maybe?," another fan pointed out.
"Pop-punk queen of England! I love this look on you so much," an Instagram user shared.
