Avril Lavigne stuns in all-black leather ensemble: 'Pop-punk queen'
The Canadian pop-punk icon is wrapping up her 2023 European tour in London, UK.
Avril Lavigne is in her "new style era."
On Monday, the Canadian pop-punk icon took to Instagram with a carousel of stunning photos from London, UK, amid her European tour.
In the snaps, the 38-year-old posed in front of a sheet of metal, donning an all-black leather ensemble that included a belted, pleated mini skirt paired with a corset top, a collared racing jacket and a pair of studded stiletto boots.
The singer rocked her signature smokey-eye makeup and wore her hair in half-up half-down space buns.
"We back in the U.K.," she captioned the post, alongside the British flag emoji.
In the comments, fans swooned over Lavigne's tried-and-true style.
"I'm absolutely loving your new style era. Such a slay," an Instagram user commented.
Another added: "Pop-punk queen of England! Love this look on you so much."
"This style of yours is so perfect. Is it some spoiler of a new era maybe?," a fan chimed in.
"This whole outfit is [fire]," another commenter wrote.
"What a beautiful hairstyle," someone else penned. "It suits you so much!"
Last month, Lavigne garnered praise for embracing her "Sk8er Boi" style roots in a photoshoot for Numéro Magazine.
Lavigne posed with a skateboard, wearing a black, oversized graphic T-shirt, paired with a matching long-sleeve dress underneath and black combat boots.
The "Complicated" songstress topped off her "edgy" look with a pair of thigh-high stiletto boots, black fishnet stockings and a long black leather coat.
"The outfits and the skateboard, yes!," an Instagram user commented on the post, while another person added:
"Rockstar princess vibes! Love."
"Sk8er girl!" someone else commented with a heart emoji.
"Sk8r girl! Omg, I love these! Very you," echoed another commenter.
The singer-songwriter released her most recent album, "Love Sux," in February 2022. She kicked off her North American Tour, "Bite Me!" that spring in Canada.
Her European tour, named after the recent album, began in Paris in early April. Including her upcoming last few shows in London, Lavigne will visit 17 cities.
