How many points did Zach Edey score tonight? Grizzlies-Jazz box score

Zach Edey, the two-time college basketball player of the year, officially began his NBA career on Wednesday night.

The ninth overall pick in the 2024 NBA draft had a solid preseason, the former Purdue Boilermakers star averaging 12.2 points in 20.2 minutes per game across five preseason contests.

In his first game as a pro, Edey and the Memphis Grizzlies faced a Utah Jazz team that surrendered over 51 points per game in the paint a season ago. During the preseason, no NBA team allowed more points in the paint than the Jazz. It seemed like a recipe for Edey to thrive. But it didn't quite work out that way.
