Drake wears 'Kawhi Me A River' sweater to Game 6 amid criticism
Drake has been unapologetically supportive of his Toronto Raptors throughout the playoffs and responded to his critics cleverly during Saturday’s Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Instead of having his mouth do the talking, like it did after Toronto’s Game 5 victory in Milwaukee on Thursday to take a 3-2 series edge, he let his clothing spread his cheeky message.
After Drake and Mallory Edens -the daughter of Bucks co-owner Wes Edens - entered a flame war throughout and after Game 5, the OVO boss wore a sweater reading “Kawhi Me A River”, an obvious pun on Cry Me a River, while invoking Raptors superstar Kawhi Leonard.

The rap star has been routinely called out for his sideline antics, most notably for giving Raptors head coach Nick Nurse an in-game massage during Game 4.
Being on home turf certainly helps Drake, who led Jurassic Park into a frenzy during Toronto’s Game 5 victory. The team’s global ambassador is relentlessly bold for his fandom and promises to be a fixture in Raptorland for a couple more weeks after Toronto eliminated the Bucks in Game 6 to advance to its first-ever NBA Finals against the defending champion Golden State Warriors.
Drake wasn’t the only celebrity in attendance for Game 6, as former NFL star Jamaal Charles, YouTuber and late night host Lilly Singh, Toronto FC’s Chris Mavinga, Alejandro Pozuelo, Toronto Blue Jays pitchers Aaron Sanchez, Marcus Stroman, and former Toronto Argonauts star Pinball Clemons were on hand at the Scotiabank Arena.
