Big 12 kickoff times, TV info announced for upcoming K-State and KU football games

The Kansas State football team will play games in prime time until further notice.

K-State was once again selected for an evening time slot for its road game against West Virginia at Milan Puskar Stadium on Oct. 19. The game will start at 6:30 p.m. Central with FOX or FS1 broadcasting the action to a national audience.

That will mark K-State’s fifth prime-time game of the season, as the Wildcats are also slated to play Colorado at 9:15 p.m. Central on Saturday at Folsom Field in Boulder.

It’s easy to see why the Big 12 and its television partners keep choosing the Wildcats for evening games. They are off to a 4-1 start and keep playing opponents with winning records. West Virginia is coming off a blowout win over Oklahoma State.

Meanwhile, the struggling Kansas Jayhawks will play their next game against the Houston Cougars at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 19 at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. That game will be streamed on ESPN+.

KU will look to rebound from five straight losses after getting this week off.
