WhippleD is a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle built by Nostalgia Hot Rods.

Get ready for the exhilarating debut of "WhippleD," a one-of-a-kind 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle powered by CTEK, at the 2024 SEMA Show. This stunning custom build, commissioned by Senior Frogs' owner Omar Schmitt and crafted by Nostalgia Hot Rods under Dustin Hacker’s leadership, is set to captivate audiences when it’s unveiled on Tuesday, November 5 at noon in CTEK’s booth (#23657).

Originally a classic big-block Chevelle, "WhippleD" has been transformed into a high-performance machine, powered by a supercharged LSX 408 engine with a Whipple 3.0 supercharger. Paired with a Holley Terminator engine management system and a Tremec T56 transmission, this beast delivers precision power. Featuring CTEK’s innovative CS FREE adaptive booster and battery charger, the Chevelle seamlessly blends cutting-edge technology with aggressive design.

The build’s exterior sports stunning Valspar paint, Budnik Spiders wheels, Toyo tires, and custom glass by AM Hot Rods Glass, while the interior boasts NHR Hydes denim blue leather. The premium Focal sound system ensures the car’s interior matches the performance under the hood.

Built on a custom NHR chassis, WhippleD is equipped with Watts 4-link rear suspension, independent tubular front suspension, and Shock Wave air suspension for impeccable handling and a striking stance. This showstopper is expected to make a massive impact at SEMA 2024, following Schmitt’s and Nostalgia Hot Rods’ successful 1946 Willys Jeepster project.
