The 2025 Ford E-Transit is headed for vocational school. Ford has opened up order books for the latest version of its electric van, which offers four new factory-installed trade packages that are tailor-made for specific vocations (more on those later). Along with the new upfit options, Ford also released pricing for the 2025 lineup, with the big news being that the E-Transit prices now match the gas-powered van.

As before, the cutaway and chassis cab models are designed for commercial customers. The base cutaway now starts at $47,795—a $260 increase over last year. The chassis cab model now starts at $48,295, making it $295 cheaper than the previous model. Lastly, the standard cargo model rises to $53,095, putting it $290 above the previous version. If the marginally changed pricing isn't enough incentive, Ford is also introducing a new $2000 commercial charging rebate to help offset the cost of charging for commercial customers.

Back to the new trade packages, the E-Transit cargo van and its gas-fed counterpart can now be ordered as-is or with one of four factory-installed packages that utilize upfit components by Ranger Design. The packages are intended to shorten the order-to-delivery process and streamline financing for commercial customers who intend to upfit their vans.

The available packages include an Electrician package that adds drawers and bins to store parts and reels to hang wiring; an HVAC package with larger shelves along with refrigerant storage; a General Contractor package with multi-use shelving, drawers, and hooks; and a Foldable Shelving package with large folding shelves intended for delivery services. The General Contractor package is the least expensive at $2900. The Folding Shelving package costs $3300, the Electrician package is priced at $4370, and the HVAC kit costs $4400.
