Chan Sung Jung, also known as ‘The Korean Zombie’, has joined the queue of disgruntled fighters following Alex Volkanovski’s contentious split-decision victory over Max Holloway at UFC 251.

Some pundits, media, social media and UFC boss Dana White felt Holloway did enough to win his rematch with the Aussie champ, as he landed more strikes in each of the first three rounds.

But the champion stayed composed under early fire and pushed the pace in the last two rounds of the UFC 251 bout on Yas Island.

Two judges scored the fight 48-47, with one judge going to the other way and handing Holloway a 48-47 scorecard.

While many current fighters and fans were split over who won the insanely competitive fight, rival and UFC veteran Chan was furious and even went as far as to claim it was ‘shameful’ Volkanovski was still the champ.

“I am responding to yesterday’s title match against Volkanovski and Halloway,” he wrote on Instagram.

“To be honest, it is shameful that Volkanovski is a champion of my weight class.

“Give him to me then you don’t need to worry about the judges decision.

“As you know, I won't let the judges decide the result of my fight. I will finish him at the title match and that is what UFC fans want to watch.”

The Korean Zombie has a 16-5 record but is coming off an impressive victory over Franke Edgar.

Despite his call out, it is too early to figure out who Volkanovski will look to defend the belt against next after many people called for a trilogy after the Holloway controversy.

Dana White lashes judges

UFC boss White was critical of the judges after he suggested Holloway should have won that fight.

"You can't leave it to those guys, we've got some bad judging," White said.

“Did anybody in here score it for Volkanovski?

“Anybody have it for Volkanovski? Nobody in the media? I don’t know, we’ll have to figure it out.”
