Jiri Prochazka has stunned the UFC world with a vicious second-round knockout in his UFC debut.

Fighting in the headline bout on the preliminary card at UFC 251 on Saturday, Prochazka flattened former light-heavyweight title contender Volkan Oezdemir with a huge right hand.

Oezdemir crumpled to the canvas and lay unconscious for several minutes as trainers rushed to his aid.

Czech fighter Prochazka was making his UFC debut after beating the likes of CB Dolloway, Fabio Maldonado and Muhammad Lawal in RIZIN.

He was RIZIN’s light heavyweight champion.

“I feel amazing. The performance was horrible, so many punches,” he said after the fight.

“I expected more wrestling from him, but it was good.”

Procházka said he’s got his eyes set on the top of the division.

“I want to take the title. That's my mission here,” he said.

“Not just the title, but my performance - I need to work on it. I had a few mistakes, so let's go.”

Procházka’s stunning debut knockout sent the UFC world into meltdown, including boss Dana White.

Meanwhile, Australia's Alex Volkanovski has retained his UFC featherweight world title with a split points win over former champion Max Holloway in Abu Dhabi.

Two judges scored it 48-47 to New South Welshman Volkanovski, with the third seeing it the opposite way.

Hawaiian Holloway - who lost the belt to Volkanovski in Las Vegas last December - won the first two rounds with a knock down in each but the champion fought back by taking down the challenger in both the fourth and fifth.
