Zion Williamson has been brutally trolled by NBA fans after a number of botched dunks in the first half of the NBA All-Star Game.

Williamson was called into the Team Durant starting line-up after Joel Embiid was ruled out due to COVID-19 contact tracing.

However the New Orleans Pelicans star didn't exactly make the most of his late call-up in his first All-Star game appearance.

Williamson was just 1-for-5 after six minutes of action, including a number of missed dunk attempts.

“Welcome to the big time,” NBA legend Reggie Miler said in commentary after Williamson missed at the rim for the fourth time.

Fans were also quick to troll Williamson on social media.

Thankfully the 20-year-old managed to bounce back in the second quarter, producing two highlight reel dunks.

Steph Curry takes out three-point contest

Earlier, Stephen Curry shot his way to another 3-point contest title at the NBA All Star weekend while Domantas Sabonis made sure the skills challenge still belongs to the bigs.

Golden State superstar Curry, who also won the 3-point contest in 2015, solidified his reputation as one of the top shooters in NBA history when he sank his final 3-pointer of the competition to edge out Utah's Mike Conley.

The NBA's leader in total 3-pointers this season with 169, Curry watched as fellow finalists Jayson Tatum put up 17 points, while Conley, the NBA's reigning H-O-R-S-E competition champ, had 27.

Missing his first four shots, Curry found a rhythm and jumped back into contention by nailing both of the extra-deep shots worth three points each.

He was four points behind when he arrived at his last rack of five balls, then made three of four to get within one point before hoisting the red-white-and-blue two-point ball through the hoop just before time ran out to finish with 28.

"I could hear the temperature rise a little bit," Curry said of the reaction from the small crowd allowed in State Farm Arena.

"It was some awesome competition," Curry said.

"I'm glad I got it done."

The 6-foot-11 Sabonis did not miss a pass or 3-point shot in elimination wins over Julius Randle of the New York Knicks and Luka Doncic of Dallas in the test of passing, ball-handling and shooting ability.

Sabonis beat Orlando's 7-foot Nikola Vucevic in the match-up of big men for the skills title.
