'Kick in the guts': Supercars couple open up on 'devastating' ordeal
Supercars TV presenter Riana Crehan has revealed the struggles the coronavirus pandemic has placed on herself and her husband during the racing shut down.
Her husband, Supercars driver Will Davison, has been recently shuffled out of the Tickford racing line-up when Milwaukee Tools pulled its backing on the 23Red entry.

Crehan, a pit lane reporter, has also been sidelined indefinitely due to race weekend staffing requirements.
She said the news has taken its toll on the pair, but they are trying to stay positive.
"It's been a rollercoaster of emotions," she told the Parked Up podcast.
"Obviously [we were] really devastated when Will got the news that Milwaukee was pulling its sponsorship and subsequently he'd be out of a gig with 23Red. And then obviously getting the news that I wouldn't be attending Supercars races for the near future... it's hit us for six a little bit.
"But we're trying to maintain a positive attitude, because like so many people at the moment it's just such a difficult time.
“I know there's many others out there that are going through tough times, we're not the only ones who are losing jobs or out of work. But it certainly has been a fair kick in the guts for both of us."
Crehan revealed her husband has taken the bad news of losing his driving spot with the utmost professionalism.
"I'm blown away by Will," she added.
"I probably shouldn't be, because I know him so well, but the way he's taken it has been [with] the utmost [professionalism].
"He could have gone in a heap and said 'why me' and all that sort of stuff, and that's not to say he hasn't had bad days where he has said 'why me?'. But he's been incredible the way he's handled this situation. He's never blamed anyone. He's never been angry. He's just taken it in his stride.”
Will Davison loses Supercars seat
Davison lost his full-time drive in the Supercars championship after the withdrawal of sponsor Milwaukee Racing.
That led to the demise of Davison's 23Red Racing outfit with James Courtney replacing him in the fourth Ford for Tickford Racing for the remainder of the 2020 championship.
Courtney, the 2010 championship winner, walked out on Team Sydney following the season opening Adelaide 500, having ended a long association with Walkinshaw Andretti United at the end of 2019.
The COVID-19 enforced suspension of this year's championship means Courtney has not missed a race and he'll take the spot vacated by two-time Bathurst 1000 winner Davison.
