'Swerved intentionally': Supercars driver hit by van on morning run
Supercars driver Will Davison has avoided injury despite being struck by a van which his wife said “swerved intentionally” at them while they were on a morning run.
Davison and his wife, Riana Crehan, were running on the Gold Coast on Monday when the incident occurred.

Crehan, a pitlane reporter for the Supercars television broadcasts, took to social media to speak out against the driver's actions.
She said a white van had swerved intentionally at her and Davison while the pair were running in the bike lane on Hope Island Road at approximately 7.50am.
“I'm sorry ur (sic) so angry,” Crehan said.
“There much bigger things in the world then you being pissed at 2 people on a morning jog.”
After a flurry of replies, Crehan added that two-time Bathurst 1000 winner Davison was “fine” before describing the road as a “nightmare”.
“It just angers me that time after time Hope Island Rd is such a nightmare,” she said.
“It’s a suburban rd that constantly has accidents, bike crashes, dangerous round abouts and list goes on!”

Will Davison loses Supercars seat
The incident comes just weeks after Davison lost his full-time drive in the Supercars championship after the withdrawal of sponsor Milwaukee Racing.
That led to the demise of Davison's 23Red Racing outfit with James Courtney replacing him in the fourth Ford for Tickford Racing for the remainder of the 2020 championship.
Courtney, the 2010 championship winner, walked out on Team Sydney following the season opening Adelaide 500, having ended a long association with Walkinshaw Andretti United at the end of 2019.
The COVID-19 enforced suspension of this year's championship means Courtney has not missed a race and he'll take the spot vacated by two-time Bathurst 1000 winner Davison.
Courtney will race a Boost Mobile-sponsored Mustang, with the 39-year-old having a long relationship with the telco's founder Peter Adderton.
“Certainly it's unfortunate what has happened with Will and 23Red,” Courtney said.
“It's a tough situation, but when one door closes, another opens.
“From the end of February up until now my world's been upside down and all over the place.
“To come out of that situation with this opportunity, I'm very happy.”
Courtney will join Lee Holdswoth, Cameron Waters and Jack Le Brocq at Tickford Racing, with the four-car team to compete as a unit for the first time when the Supercars Championship resumes at Sydney Motorsport Park on June 27.
