Our Yorkshire Farm star Clive Owen undergoes operation as Amanda shares struggle in update
Star of Our Yorkshire Farm, Amanda Owen has revealed her ex-husband, Clive Owen, recently underwent major hip surgery. While providing an exclusive glimpse into their spin-off series Our Farm Next Door, Amanda, 50, shared with Lorraine Kelly that her ex-partner, Clive, 69, is thankfully on the mend following a hip replacement operation.
In a clip of the show which is yet to air, Amanda was seen talking to the crew backstage where she said: "There's a lot going on here. It's been a nightmare here. I've got children going to school, I've got children studying and children working and then he comes to me and says he's bored."
In another teaser, Amanda stood with Clive who was standing on crutches by some lambs in the barn as they discussed breeding season. Talking to the camera, Amanda explained: "He has had a hip replacement and he's a terrible patient. Everybody's just getting on and stuff's getting done but just not how he would like it. But most of the time we don't care."

Clive then talks to the camera detailing how the family are “carrying on” without him. He adds that sometimes you believe it’s nice “not doing anything” but said “it’s not, it’s horrible”.
For their latest show Our Farm Next Door, the pair have decided to restore a neighbouring farmhouse which they revealed hasn’t been without its challenges, especially when it comes to the weather and Amanda added that it’s been a “big undertaking”.
In 2022, Amanda confirmed her separation from Clive. She expressed at the time: "Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate. This hasn't been easy, but we both believe it's the right choice for the future of our family."
Later on, Clive revealed it was his "anger" that "drove her away". The couple have nine children together, Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clemmie, and Nancy.
Appearing on Lorraine in early October, Amanda admitted that working with Clive was “the same as it ever was” despite the split, and added that for both of them “the work never stops”. She also added that for their children, seeing them working together is “an incredibly good lesson”.
Amanda finished on the Monday 14 October episode of Lorraine by saying: "It's about pushing forward, compromise, making our unique situation work. Well, I say work - work to the degree that things in our life tend to work. In other words, chaos."
