Vicky Pattison wins £2,400 on Tipping Point and gives it to Welsh charity
Television personality Vicky Pattison has won thousands of pounds on the celebrity version of an ITV gameshow - and will be donating it all to a Welsh charity close to her heart. The 36-year-old, who is a former winner of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! was one of the contestants on Tipping Point Lucky Stars.
She was competing on the show trying to raise money for Many Tears Animal Rescue Centre, an animal charity based in Cefneithin, Carmarthenshire, which she has long been a supporter of for many years. On Valentine's Day this year, she sent a big box of pig ears treats for its almost 100 resident dogs at the time. And in August, the charity put together a special post on Instagram wishing her a happy wedding day.
Back in 2022, she adopted puppy Max from the rescue, after embarking on a 12-hour trip to visit the shelter to pick him up. For the latest TV & Showbiz news, sign up to our newsletter.
Whilst Vicky did not make it to the final, with fellow contestant Jo Brand advancing, Vicky still managed to win £2,400 for the rescue centre. Asked by presenter Ben Shepherd where she would be donating the money, she said: "I am going to give my money to the lovely guys at Many Tears Animal Rescue. They are this gorgeous little place in Wales that look after dogs and animals until they find their forever home, so they could really do with this."
In response, Many Tears Animal Rescue Centre wrote: "We would like to say a huge thank you to our friend and supporter, the amazing Vicky Pattison who picked Many Tears as her charity of choice when she appeared on Tipping Point last night! Vicky did so well and raised an incredible £2,400 for the rescue. Thank you so much for your continued support Vicky, we are so very grateful for everything you've done for us."
