'Thank you William': Emotional Charles receives kiss from son during coronation
There were a lot of memorable moments during King Charles's coronation ceremony, from watching Prince George carry his grandfather's robes, to Harry joking with his cousins and the moment Charles was crowned.
But one sweet moment you may have missed happened between Charles and his eldest son, Prince William.
During the ceremony, after the 74-year-old royal was crowned, the first-in-line to the throne approached his father and said: "I, William, Prince of Wales, pledge my loyalty to you and faith and truth I will bear unto you, as your liege man of life and limb. So help me God."

Following the pledge, William bent down to give his father a kiss on the cheek, an action so quick it may have been missed by many.
Charles then was seen mouthing: "Thank you, William," to his son, who will one day be the King of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth realms himself.
Some social media users noted that Charles looked "emotional" when William gave him a kiss.
"The only time I saw the King crack a smile was when Prince William kissed him on the cheek just now," @safiverse said.
"He [Charles] had tears in his eyes after William gave him a kiss," @NaomiSky_15 added.

Other Twitter users said the moment made them emotional, with @GwenWinchester1 writing: "When William kissed his father, it made me cry."
"Just loved that pledge by William. The kiss on his dad's cheek I actually found quite emotional. I bet Harry does feel a bit left out," @arfersweet added.

While both Harry and Meghan were invited to the coronation, only Harry accepted the invitation but he played no central role in the coronation, instead sitting with the extended members of the Royal Family.
Meghan decided to stay in California to be with her and Harry’s children, Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, one, as May 6 marked Archie’s fourth birthday.
