Strictly's Sam Quek 'back to mum duty' after 10 days away in sweet snaps of rarely-seen kids
Strictly Come Dancing star Sam Quek has revealed that she’s back on “mum duty” after 10 days away from her children. The Olympian has been busy training and appearing on the show alongside Nikita Kuzmin, and wowed viewers during the recent Halloween week when she performed a jive to Time Warp from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
With Saturday, 26 October’s live show all over, Sam, 36, has been soaking up some quality time with her beloved children. In a heartwarming Instagram post, the mum-of-two revealed that after spending more than a week away from her two children, Molly and Isaac (Zac), she has finally reunited with them.
In the sweet snap, the Olympian could be seen eating brunch with her little ones as they soaked up the reunion. With her daughter Molly sat beside her, Sam could be seen cradling Zac with one arm as she tucked into her omelette and chips using the other.

“Back to mum duty after 10 days away. The classic one arm eating, cold tea, dirty hands on the white T-shirt. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. #Sunday #Family,” she captioned the post.

In response to the adorable upload, Sam’s followers flocked to the comments section to gush over the snap. “So happy you’re reunited,” wrote one. “Nothing beats family xx,” another added.
“Lovely you can spend some quality time with your children Sam xxx,” said a third. “So wholesome and beautiful,” commented another.
Sam, who shares her children with husband Thomas Mairs, has previously opened up about juggling her Strictly training with the demands of parenthood, and revealed in an exclusive interview with OK! that her whole family are on board. “Zac, who’s my youngest, is two-and-a-half.
“Apparently when my husband’s been picking him up at nursery he’s going, ‘That’s my daddy’, and then he goes, ‘My mummy’s dancing.’ My husband was laughing last night, saying those who don’t know I’m doing Strictly would think it’s all a bit random,” she said.
“Molly’s been watching videos on YouTube and watched the show on Saturday, so she knows Strictly is a TV show and that I’m dancing to go on the telly. She wakes up every morning, asking, ‘Are you dancing again today, Mummy?’ I say yes and then she goes, ‘Are you coming back tonight or are you in London?’ She’s processing it and she loves music and Disney princess dresses, and any time I put make-up on she’s wondering and asking, so it’s nice to see her little mind come alive.”
