Craig Revel Horwood was left apologising after making a live blunder.

The Strictly Come Dancing judge appeared on The One Show on Friday (October 25) with Vick Hope and Roman Kemp on hand to host. But things took an awkward turn when Craig found himself making a blunder.

After discussing this week’s Halloween special on Strictly, Vick said to Craig: “Talking of special weeks, there is a major one after Halloween week, is that right?” Looking confused, Craig turned and said: “A major after Halloween week?”

Vick then explained: “Icons?” as suddenly the penny dropped for Craig and he proclaimed: “Icons! Yes! Sorry darling I thought it was all about me!” Vick was referring to show’s brand new week for the 2025 series: Icons.

It was revealed last month that there will be a new celebratory week to mark two decades of Strictly magic: Icons. This fresh addition to the series, intended to continue in future seasons, will see the remaining couples perform routines dedicated to music icons.

On Saturday, November 2, the surviving Strictly contestants will dance in homage to some of the music industry's most iconic and influential figures. This newly introduced week will pay homage to legendary musicians from various eras.

The couples are set to dazzle by dancing to tracks from their personal music heroes, and spectators might even spot some of the contestants channelling a music legend! The specific icons, dances, and songs will be announced in time.

Aside from the well-loved Movie Week, Strictly's calendar includes the unique Blackpool week, which sees the contestants take to the legendary Blackpool Tower ballroom for one exclusive week, and also honours Musicals.

Additionally, marking the premiere of 'Icons Week' during Sunday's results show on November 3, the skilled professional dancers of Strictly will captivate audiences with a spectacular Beyonce medley. Johannes Radebe is set to steal the spotlight as the lead, with fans advised to anticipate an amalgamation of "bejewelled cowboy hats, power ballad moves and sparkling sass".

The One Show airs Monday to Friday at 7pm on BBC One.
