Claudia then announced that “Mr and Mrs Buswell are coming to see their baby girl” which was met with cheers by the Strictly cast. “I know it means so much, they love you and Chris, this what you wanted, you wanted to dance in front of your mum and dad. And Chris, you want this amazing woman to feel proud, out there in front of her family.”
Chris responded with the fact that they’d set themselves this ‘goal’ from the beginning and couldn’t believe that they’d managed to ‘get here’. The pair ended the segment with a very emotional hug.
On Saturday night (16 November), Chris and Dianne danced an American Smooth and were awarded 37 out of 40, including 10s from Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke. Post-performance, an emotional Dianne received comfort from Chris in a heartfelt hug, showing his support for his partner.
This touching moment followed Dianne's recent health update. In a shared video, when Chris queried about the absence of their usual Monday post, Dianne confessed, "I wasn't very well," leading Chris to joke about their hard work.
