Strictly's AJ Odudu turns up the heat in semi-sheer sequin dress at BAFTAs 2022
Presenter AJ Odudu is no stranger to being in front of the camera, but for the 2022 BAFTAs red carpet the ex-Strictly Come Dancing star came dressed to impress for her hosting gig with comedian Tom Allen.
Odudu turned up the heat in a semi-sheer sparkling Yanina Couture gown, documenting her getting ready process for her Instagram followers.
The sheer nude bodice highlighted the host’s toned figure, and featured strategically placed sequins in a feather design across her torso, whereas the slinky skirt of the figure-hugging gown was covered in sequins.
A black tulle train cascaded down from the small of her back to add drama from behind the dress.

Odudu finished off her ensemble with dainty gold hoop earrings, a gold chain necklace and two simple bracelets, as well as chunky mix-tone rings for an added air of toughness all by luxury jewellery house, Bulgari.
The Strictly finalist kept her hair simple styling her long dark locks poker straight to allow it to flow effortlessly down the back of her gown.
Documenting her BAFTAs “glow up” with hairstylist Stefan Bertin and make-up artist Thembi Mkandla on Instagram from the Savoy Hotel where she was getting ready, she said: “Getting my wig plucked, getting ready to meet all the stars on the red carpet from 3pm.”
Odudu’s make-up echoed her outfit with a metallic gold and black smokey eye, offset by a soft nude lip.

The 34-year-old took to the BAFTAs red carpet from 3pm with co-host Tom Allen to host coverage of the arrivals, and speak to guests of the annual awards evening at the Royal Albert Hall venue.
Fans loved the look, posting supporting comments under her Instagram post. “Wow!” one fan simply wrote, whilst another declared, “Best dressed!”.
There were a lot of top looks on the BAFTAs red carpet on Sunday, but I think we can safely say the AJ Odudu’s look was definitely up there.
