Sophie Countess of Wessex takes to dance floor with Judge Rinder in £2,950 dress

Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, have been taking on more and more public appearances and royal tours in recent months, in celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year of celebrations and as Her Majesty’s health has taken priority over her own appearances.
Sophie, Countess of Wessex, 57, joined her husband Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, on a visit to Jersey and Guernsey on Sunday and Monday to celebrate both the islands Liberation Day.
Liberation Day is an annual celebration which commemorates the Islands' freedom from German Occupation during World War II.
Celebrated annually on May 9 in Guernsey, 2022 commemorates the 77th anniversary of the Channel Islands’ freedom.
Typically the festivities provide an opportunity for islanders to remember the days of Occupation, and pay their respects to those who passed during that time, but it is also a time of celebration for the Island.
The Countess of Wessex joined in the celebratory events taking place in St Peter Port and took to the dance floor with Judge Rinder at a Liberation Day Tea Dance on the Island.
The Wessexes attended a parade on Jersey on behalf of the Queen before attending the Guernsey tea dance hosted by Judge Rinder – born Robert Rinder – who finished in fifth place on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016.
The Countess wore a custom ruffled forest-green gown by Suzannah London with nude stilettos as she joined the TV personality in a dance to ‘Puttin’ On The Ritz’ at the tea dance.

The stunning, 1950s-inspired, midi-length dress was fitting for such a celebration and its pure silk taffeta fabric makes it a “pure showstopper” according to the brand.
The Eudora silk shirt dress was adapted and re-produced in a beautiful Italian certified sustainable cloth, Suzannah told Yahoo Life UK.
"I fell in love with the beautiful depth of green, and the cloth has a smart edge but with an effortless casual versatility."
Suzannah Crabb established her own namesake brand in 2006 and has since dressed many of the members of the royal family in her tea dresses and coat-dresses.
Her fashion collections are regularly included in the Royal Ascot style guide as ultimate examples of the latest styles for the season for the royal enclosure, too.
