Smoothie King Announces a 'GLP-1 Support Menu' for Customers on Drugs like Ozempic
The new menu includes five smoothies “created to assist the millions of Americans currently taking prescription GLP-1 medications"
Smoothie King is blending up something for people “on the GLP-1 journey.”
On Tuesday, Oct. 29, the smoothie chain is launching the GLP-1 Support Menu. The line-up includes various smoothies “created to assist the millions of Americans currently taking prescription GLP-1 medications,” per a press release.
While they are marketed as being for people taking diabetes and obesity medications — like Ozempic and Wegovy — anyone looking to up their protein intake and limit sugar can order them.
The GLP-1 Support Menu items have at least 20 grams of protein and 0 grams of added sugar. There are five different smoothies designed with help from dietician Molly Kimball: Gladiator GLP-1, Slim N Trim GLP-1 Mango Greens, Keto Champ GLP-1 (available in berry or chocolate), the Activator Recovery GLP-1 Almond Berry and Power Meal Slim GLP-1 (available in chocolate, vanilla or strawberry).
Gladiator GLP-1 combines protein (in chocolate, vanilla or strawberry) with the choice of two ingredients from almonds, almond butter, wild blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, organic ginger, kale, carrots or spinach. Because there are so many different variables, the calories can range from 220-560 and protein can be between 45-61g.
Slim N Trim GLP-1 Mango Greens blends mangoes, greek yogurt, almond milk, Slim N Trim blend, organic kale, ginger and spinach for 200 calories and 22g protein.
The berry version of Keto Champ GLP-1 contains almond milk, almond butter, wild blueberries, raspberries, keto protein blend and cocoa. Meanwhile, the chocolate iteration has almond milk, almond butter, keto protein blend, cocoa and stevia. Both have 24g of protein and 420-450 calories.
There is 24g of protein and 200 calories in each cup of Activator Recovery GLP-1 Almond Berry, which has almond milk, strawberries, wild blueberries, coconut water and strawberry protein powder.

Power Meal Slim GLP-1’s chocolate version has bananas, almond milk, protein powder and 100% cocoa. The vanilla Power Meal Slim GLP-1 blends bananas, almond milk and protein powder. The strawberry Power Meal Slim GLP-1 combines bananas, strawberries and protein powder. There's another range here (19-22g protein and 190-210 calories).
Smoothie King has other health-focused menus, like their Get Fit, Be Well or Manage Weight Blends.
“We know that every individual’s path is different, and with the rising use of GLP-1 medications across the country and our customer base, we want to ensure that Smoothie King provides the nutritional resources to match. Our smoothies are more than just a delicious treat — they’re a power-packed meal on-the-go to help our guests stay on track with their goals,” said Smoothie King’s CEO Wan Kim.
The drinks will be available to order nationwide in all 1,200 stores, online or via the Smoothie King app starting on Oct. 29.
Ozempic (prescription medication for type 2 diabete) and Wegovy (prescription medication for clinical obesity) are brand names for semaglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist that works in the brain to impact satiety. Taken once a week by injection in the thigh, stomach or arm, the medications have gained popularity in Hollywood and amongst people of all ages for weight loss.
