Simone Biles Shares Update on Texas Home Renovation — Including a Look at Her Pool, Kitchen and Laundry

The gold medalist's house with husband Jonathan Owens has been a work in progress for over a year

Simone Biles should get a gold medal for home design!

On Saturday, Oct. 26, the Olympian updated followers on the latest surrounding her massive Texas home renovation. Biles, 27, and her husband Jonathan Owens have been working on the house for over a year, taking fans along for the ride since September 2023.

"Updating y'all on my bye week from tour," the athlete wrote on her Instagram Stories, referring to time off during her GOAT Tour.

"Obviously had to check in on the progress at the new house," Biles added, sharing pictures of the pool, garage, kitchen and laundry room.

Biles and Owens' in-ground pool overlooks a lake and already has a foundation laid out. A three-car garage is also in the works on their property.

Insider the couple's home, a gorgeous black-and-white marble countertop and backsplash take over the kitchen with white cabinetry.

Elsewhere, a laundry room has at least four machines with another black-and-white backsplash.

Biles and Owens, 29, have been sharing updates about their home-in-progress for over a year — including the setbacks they faced.

Early updates included exposed beams and concrete foundations. In February, Biles showed off her envy-worthy walk-in closet, complete with built-in drawers and divided sections to make organization easy.

Geometric details such as hardwood floors and black-and-white tiles were in the house as of May, along with glass sliding doors overlooking the water.

In August, following her appearance at the Paris Olympics, she announced that "tiles are in" for their home and posted the facade.

Biles also noted in an August Instagram Stories that she was "So excited to make this house a HOME ... a couple more months."
