We're already predicting a sell-out success for this super on-trend new line, which might just be the most exciting high street collaboration we've seen in ages (yes, even beating Mango x Victoria Beckham). It's just what we needed to jump on board the boho revival bandwagon driven by Chloe's new creative director, Chemena Kamali (Sienna was front row at her headline-grabbing AW24 Fashion Week show, naturally).

The British actress, model and all-round style queen has lent her effortless cool to trusty M&S again, just in time for festival season, and you can shop it all from today, Thursday 6 June, online and in 30 stores. Prices start at £29.50, with the most expensive pieces costing £89, so this is a refreshingly affordable collection. It's live now, so go, go, go!

M&S x Sienna Miller is full of timeless pieces that will slot easily into your existing capsule wardrobe. It embraces 'high/low dressing' – a style ethos that's key to how we all shop here at Red and reflects how Sienna styles her looks on the red carpet, at events and on the school run.

Expect nods to summer festivals (yes, there's a coin belt in tribute to that Glastonbury look), Seventies prints, exotic adventures and some of Sienna's own favourite vintage finds. One printed shift dress is an almost exact replica of a Sixties style from Ninth Street Vintage in New York that she was papped in years ago, while an ombre slip reminds us of the slinky Galvan number she's often seen in.

There are 33 gorgeous pieces to add to basket (yes, we want everything), including Sienna's 'dress of the season' – a chic ruffled maxi dress available in ivory and pale blue, with the latter ideal as a wedding guest dress. 'I think the ruffle dresses really stand out,' she says. 'The fabric is gorgeous and you can style them a million different ways.'

Expect fluid lines, rich textures and vintage-inspired fabrications from this range, with each item telling a story and referencing famous looks from Sienna's own archive. It's obvious that this is a labour of love that she really has got her fashion fingerprints all over. 'Trying to choose a favourite item is impossible,' she insists. 'I love them all.'

Highlights include a beaded tank dress that's ready for the Pyramid Stage; Western suede mules that are Sienna's go-to alternative to a sandal; and a multipurpose sarong inspired by a scarf she received from her father many years ago. Then all those colour and print combinations? They're inspired by one of Sienna's favourite artists, Mark Rothko.

If it's classic staples that you're after, you'll find them here too. We're talking slouchy barrel-leg jeans (the jean shape of the moment) with contrasting side panels and cut-out hem detailing for that perfect retro finish; a khaki utility jacket that adds toughness to feminine summer dresses; and the ultimate soft smocked summer shirt with a lived-in feel.

Speaking about the partnership in a release, Sienna Miller said: "I have always had a genuine love for M&S – it's a brand that is part of the fabric of British life and holds special associations for so many people. Seeing the reaction to the autumn campaign that I fronted was phenomenal. To collaborate on a womenswear design project made total sense. I can’t wait to see what customers think of the collection."

M&S Womenswear Director Maddy Evans added: "We are absolutely delighted to build upon our relationship with Sienna Miller and introduce a design collaboration that is inspired by her own personal wardrobe. Sienna is the epitome of the modern woman – confident, empowered, and effortlessly chic – and her unique style and personality perfectly complements our brand values."
