Scarlett Johansson upstages partner - and Emmys presenter Colin Jost - in Balmain gown
Last night, comedian Colin Jost co-hosted the Emmy Awards 2018 with Michael Che but it was his fledgling relationship with actress Scarlett Johansson that stole the headlines.
Prior to the star-studded ceremony, the new couple had kept their relationship relatively low-key but with Jost’s position as host – what better opportunity to make their awards debut?
Unfortunately for Jost, it was his actress girlfriend who garnered the sartorial attention courtesy of a cold-shoulder dress by Balmain.
The 33-year-old channelled Old Hollywood glamour in the thigh-split number and accessorised the red carpet-worthy look with slicked-back hair and punchy yellow eyeshadow.

Her make-up artist, Frankie Boyd, later revealed via Instagram that she created the look with a palette from Pat McGrath Labs. A lick of pink lipstick and glitzy earrings were all that was needed to finish the aesthetic.
Jost on the other hand, opted for a dapper plum-hued tuxedo by Dolce and Gabbana for his hosting debut.
The A-list couple first went public with their relationship back in May after walking the Met Gala red carpet together.
