This year marks 70 years on the throne for the Queen, who succeeded on February 6, 1952 aged 25 following the death of her father, King George VI.
Fast-forward seven decades and Her Majesty has seen 14 different prime ministers of the UK and presidents of the USA in her time on the throne.
Queen Elizabeth is the first-ever monarch to reach the Platinum Jubilee milestone, so it's no wonder Buckingham Palace wants to celebrate the occasion as much as possible.
And what better way to commemorate the achievements of Her Majesty’s 70-year tenure as head of state than with a wide variety of memorabilia.

The latest Platinum Jubilee memorabilia to be added to the commemorative roster is a special Platinum Jubilee T-shirt designed by artist, author and illustrator, Charlie Mackesy.
The British artist – who never went to art school – started out a cartoonist for The Spectator and a book illustrator for Oxford University Press, before exhibiting drawings in London, New York, and Edinburgh.
Mackesy has become particularly well-known for his drawings of hope throughout the pandemic and other challenging times such as the crisis in Ukraine, and his beloved book, The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse.

The T-shirt features his famous characters, the boy and the mole, along with a heart-shaped Union Jack and the words “Thank you Ma’am” beneath in Mackesy’s signature script.
The commemorative T-shirt recognising the dedication and service of Her Majesty, will be available online from the Royal Collection Trust shop website and Royal Collection Trust Shops in London, Windsor and Edinburgh from May 12, and can also be purchased in the Royal Parks over the central Jubilee weekend in June.
