The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge looked suitably elegant and regal for their final outing of their stay in Jamaica for the royal tour of the Caribbean in honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this year. Prince William donned a traditional military uniform as the Duchess of Cambridge dazzled in all white on day six of the royal couple’s eight-day tour around the island nations.
The couple attended the inaugural Jamaica Defence Force Commissioning Parade on Thursday for service personnel who have completed the Caribbean Military Academy's officer training programme.
The Duke of Cambridge, 39, displayed his military medals as he wore the Tropical Dress of the Blues and Royals, a cavalry regiment of the British Army, at the military parade in Kingston.
Kate, 40, coordinated with her husband in a white Alexander McQueen dress. The flattering pencil style dress, by the same fashion house that created her 2011 wedding dress, featured a layer of lace to soften the look.
In the duchess’ glamorous style, she added a matching white hat by Kate’s go-to millinery designer Philip Treacy. She accessorised with a white clutch bag, white court heels that look to be her trusty Jimmy Choo 'Romy 85' white leather pumps, and a pearl bracelet and earrings.

The pearl earrings appear to be the same pair loaned to the duchess by the Queen for a visit to the Netherlands in 2016.

Following a speech by her husband, the Duchess of Cambridge joined him in presenting awards of excellence to officers.
The inaugural military parade comes after Prince William called the slave trade an “appalling atrocity” and a “stain on our history” during an address at King’s House on Wednesday.
As they were leaving the event, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge travelled in the same open-top Land Rover that the Queen and Prince Philip used when they were greeted by thousands of cheering schoolchildren during their visit to Jamaica in 1953.
The final outing of their visit to the island nation, the couple will prepare to depart Jamaica following the event, and then it's on to the last stop of their Caribbean tour: the Bahamas.
