Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new job: Couple sign up as speakers for star-studded NYC agency
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have new jobs - as speakers on a star-studded agency which includes the likes of Hillary Clinton and comedian Tina Fey.
A source confirmed to Yahoo UK that the couple is on the books with the Harry Walker Agency, who also work exclusively with former president Barack Obama and his wife Michelle, as well as Bill Clinton and his wife, former Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton.
Meghan’s friend Serena Williams is also one of the exclusive names on the list.
According to a source they will be joining discussions and making speeches on “racial justice, gender equity, mental health, the environment” - and won’t be talking about the Royal Family.
They won’t be the only royals on the speakers’ books though, as Her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordan works with them.
It’s not known how much they could command, but the enquiry form on the agency website starts at $5,000 and goes up to $100,000 or more.
And they might not have to wait to start, as the company is planning virtual events during the pandemic.
The agency was set up in 1964 and is based in New York City.

Prince Harry, 35, and Meghan Markle, 38, have revealed very few details about their plans for life outside their senior royal roles since they formally stepped down at the end of March.
They have confirmed they will be launching a non-profit organisation called Archewell, which is in the process of being copyrighted.
It hit some early problems, as attorneys said the form was too vague, and they’d failed to sign one part, or pay the right amount of money.
However a source said the issue was part of the normal back and forth for a copyright application.

Harry and Meghan have been keeping up with their charities in the UK, writing forwards for end of year reports for some, and conducting video calls and writing letters to others.
Meghan’s speech to the graduating class of her former high school also indicated what might be in the future for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as she spoke about her own experience of living through riots in Los Angeles in the early 90s.
The couple could be preparing to use their foundation to tackle racism as well as for other platforms which they were associated with before stepping down from senior royal life.
