Peter Andre on three huge life milestones – becoming a grandad, wedding vow renewal and a new career move
Peter Andre has opened up about three huge milestones in his family and work life. Writing in his weekly column, the 51 year old singer - who is dad to Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, with ex Katie Price, as well as Amelia, 10, Theo, seven, and six-month-old Arabella with wife Emily - revealed the possibility of renewing his wedding vows to celebrate his 10 year anniversary.
He also discussed how he'd feel about following in the footsteps of Eminem and becoming a grandad, as well as his latest career move as he stars in a new Channel 5 drama.
Marriage renewal
Jamie Oliver recently opened up about his vow renewal to wife Jools - which took place last year in the Maldives - and admitted that moments before the ceremony he was a bit unsure about it. It got me thinking as Emily and I have never really talked about renewing our vows.

It’s our 10 year anniversary next year and we love to celebrate each milestone, but another wedding is something we’ve never considered. Maybe something to keep in mind…
New roles
It’s set to be a busy few weeks for me as I’ll be filming for my upcoming Channel 5 drama. I’m so looking forward to it and I’ll keep you all updated on how it goes. I also start rehearsals for The Best of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons very soon. But one thing you might have noticed is that I have a role in a horror-comedy film, Members Club.
It premiered in August and is set for digital download on October 21, but it’s a completely new type of role for me. I played the Greek god Adonis who turns up in this woman’s dream and it’s such a really funny segment. I had to put on a Greek accent for the movie and they asked if that would be an issue, but I just thought ‘how would my Dad say this?’.
GBBO takes the biscuit
Emily and I are absolutely loving the new series of The Great British Bake Off - the talent in the tent this year is unbelievable! We couldn’t believe the masterpieces they created from just biscuits. It’s hard to tell who could win, it’s still early days, but the standards are high!
Big Brother is back
Speaking of TV shows, Big Brother is back on screens and Junior’s got a ‘secret’ connection with one of the contestants. Marcello actually co-wrote Junior’s single, Only One. Junior actually knew he was going into the Big Brother house but couldn’t tell anyone. He’s such a lovely guy and we’re rooting for him on the show!
Congrats to Eminem
Huge congratulations goes to Eminem who became a grandad at 51 recently! And before anyone mentions it… it’s a ‘no thank you’ from me just now LOL. In all seriousness though, what a legend. How cool would it be if he was your grandad, I can imagine his grandchild rapping in no time!
