Nick Knowles given devastating news just one day before Strictly Come Dancing live show
Strictly Come Dancing star Nick Knowles has updated fans on whether he will be appearing on this week’s show, after having to pull out last week due to injury – and he reveals that there could be devastating news to come on the eve of Saturday’s live show when the experts will give their verdict on whether he is fit to perform.
However, Nick has already received bad news this week on the eve of the live show. The star's troubles have seen the bookies now put him down as the second favourite to leave the show this weekend.
Simon Kew, spokesperson from Grosvenor Sport revealed: "DIY SOS star Nick Knowles is second favourite to be eliminated this weekend, priced at 6/4. The BBC has yet to announce whether Nick will dance this week after he suffered an injury and withdrew from last week’s show.”

"Another celebrity at risk is Pete Wicks, priced at 3/1. The TOWIE star managed to escape the dance-off last week by seven points,” Simon added.
The DIY SOS he revealed last week that he had suffered an injury from a motorway incident, which required him to wear a sling. Unfortunately, this setback left him with little time for rehearsals. He also recently hurt his knee, and when the show’s physios decided he needed an MRI, he was told not to dance and as a result, he had to skip last weekend’s performance.
This has left fans worried that he might pull out of the show altogether, especially when earlier this week his name wasn’t on the list of routines set to be performed by the celebrities and their dance partners this weekend.
However, it has now been confirmed that the 62-year-old TV presenter has been allowed to practice his routine from last week, with the star pictured back in the rehearsal room on Thursday.
The star took to Instagram to update his fans on what was happening with his appearance on the show.
“The physios have cleared me to train tomorrow,” he said on Wednesday. “That’s not an all-clear for Saturday yet, I have to see how I get on and the decision will be made on Friday so we’ll update you as I go along.”
He also thanked fans for their support. “I just wanted to take this moment to say thank you for all the well wishes that I’ve received and encouragement from everybody and I’m hopeful that I will be dancing on Saturday.”
