Maura Higgins admits she 'cried all night' on date night with Pete Wicks before I'm A Celeb
Maura Higgins has revealed that she was left in tears while on a musical night out with Pete Wicks. The Love Island star, who is reportedly entering this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, and the TOWIE icon have been hit by rumours of a potential romance over recent weeks.
On Monday, 11 November, the duo were seen out in London together, though kept their distance as they were snapped by photographers, keeping people guessing about their relationship status. For the occasion, Maura, 33, stunned in a white minidress which she paired with a velvet jacket while Pete, 36, looked dapper in a black suit and polo neck.
And now, giving fans a glimpse into her night out, the TV personality has revealed that her evening ended with some tears - though it wasn’t because of her rumoured trip Down Under. Instead Maura revealed that she’d actually been brought to tears after seeing Italian pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi in concert at the London Palladium.

In a string of videos uploaded to her Instagram Story, Maura was unable to contain her emotions as she expressed her love of Ludovico’s work. As she shared one clip from the show, the Love Island USA host explained that she’d “cried all night” at the concert.
Meanwhile, in another clip she simply added a string of crying emojis as she filmed a snippet of the gig. Later on in the night, Maura wrote: “I’m in awe of him” as she described Ludovico.
While Maura is rumoured to join the likes of Coleen Rooney, GK Barry and Danny Jones in the I’m A Celeb jungle, Pete is currently taking on a completely different challenge as part of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing - and Maura has previously shown her support for him as he impresses on the dance floor.
Prior to his stint on the BBC show, Pete opened up about his love life and admitted that hoped to walk down the aisle and become a dad one day. “I'm nearly 36. I want to get married and have kids. I've been blessed with so many opportunities, but what's the point if I can't share them with anyone?,” he told The Times.
“Right now, I'm not ready to wholeheartedly commit to a romantic relationship because I don't fully understand myself yet. I would love to find a wife, but you know what? I may end up one of those men who dies alone.”
