Maid of honour surprises bride with bouquet made entirely of chicken nuggets
Flowers might be the traditional choice for a bridal bouquet, but it seems many brides are opting for something a little more novel these days.
We’ve seen doughnut bouquets, those made from candyfloss and brides-to-be have even been spotted carrying slices of pizza down the aisle.
But one maid of honour decided to up the novelty bouquet stakes even further by surprising the bride with a bouquet of chicken nuggets.
Earlier this month Blair Hardy tied the knot with Adam Tyson at a hotel in Ohio, in the US.
During her speech Jenna Spetz decided to give a nod to her cousin, Blair’s love of the food stuff, by bringing out a bouquet made of nuggets.

“[Blair] has always LOVED dino nuggets and was marrying a man with the last name Tyson, so it really was a match made in heaven,” Spetz told Insider.
“When I was thinking about my speech, I was trying to come up with something I could surprise Blair with. Nuggets immediately came to mind. I wasn't sure at what medium though or how I would even pull something like that off.”
Wanting to surprise the happy couple, the made-of-honour turned to catering company Tyson foods, who offered to help out and came up with the idea of the nugget bouquet.
“Once they got involved, everything seemed to fall into place. The team went above and beyond my expectations to the point of sending a NUGGET. BOUQUET. I never even thought of that!!!”
“They also had dino-nuggets catered locally and presented them to ALL of the wedding guests so I could do a nugget toast at the end of my speech.”

Jenna later posted about the chicken-surprise on Instagram saying: “A HUGE thank you to @tysonbrand for helping me pull off this EPIC nugget toast!
“I think the brides more excited for nugs than her new hubby!”
The bride, who met her future husband four years ago at the University of Toledo, said she was in shock after Jenna presented her with the novelty bouquet.
“Who would have thought a girl loving chicken nuggets so much and having them at her wedding would go this far?” she told Toledo Blade
She added she and Tyson were: “Married, loving life and about to smash on nuggets for the next year.”
In other wedding news, a pair of Disney fans tied the knot earlier this week with a themed wedding dedicated to their favourite animated films, complete with a four foot tall cake decorated with their favourite Disney characters.
Earlier this month, we heard about the McDonald’s wedding package available in Hong Kong, which includes a tiered apple pie wedding cake, a homage to the iconic dessert.
