MAFS fans all say the same thing about Alex following an explosive episode
The Married At First Sight UK brides and grooms delivered another explosive episode on Wednesday 23 October, as the couples were split up and put in two different groups, and tensions between some rose to the surface. While one group, which included Lacey, Adam, Ross and Kristina, seemed to get along well, the other group had less fun, especially when Sacha and Polly both argued with Alex.
In the episode, viewers saw Alex tell Sacha that she wore “fake a** jewellery,” referring to a bracelet that her groom, Ross, had given her, and made fun of the fact she doesn't own her own home. Sacha and Alex had already argued during the most recent commitment ceremony, with his own wife, Holly, deciding to leave their apartment and head home for a few days.
Fans took to social media to label Alex as 'aggressive' towards both women and called for him to be removed from the series. One viewer wrote: “For someone who professes to be a massive mummies boy, Alex’s attitude to women is absolutely vile. Poor mum,” while a second said: “I think the experts should have stepped in and removed Alex from the show. There is something seriously wrong with him.”

A third added: “Alex is too angry and shouldn’t have come on TV. If this is him on TV, behind closed doors I know he’s a nightmare." One fan agreed, saying: “You all need to be filing an Ofcom complaint against Alex, his bulls**t has lasted far too many episodes, producers should have stepped in long before now.”

However, some fans have noted that Alex did tell Polly some truth during their argument, when he pointed out to her that her relationship with her husband Adam wasn’t as great as she was making it out to be. “I’m not a fan of Alex but he’s speaking facts to Polly about her and Adam,” said one, while another wrote: “I actually can’t believe I’m saying that but Alex does have a point!”
“Alex spoke nothing but facts to you Polly,” said another fan of the show, while a fourth summed up their row: “First time I’ve agreed with Alex. He’s really putting her in her place, albeit aggressively.”
Alex has been at the heart of many of the show’s arguments, and even his very appearance on the show has been controversial, after it was revealed that the aviation officer from Birmingham was placed under military arrest for leaving his job to film MAFS without permission. He was sentenced to 34 days in military prison and it has been reported he no longer works at RAF Spadeadam where he was based.
