Loose Women stars in floods of tears during one of the show's most heartbreaking confessions yet
Loose Women star Myleene Klass broke down in tears on today's show as she opened up about her heartbreaking miscarriages alongside guest Dame Laura Kenny. Olympic hero Laura, 32, joined the panel to discuss her struggles to conceive after sadly suffering a miscarriage in 2021.
In an emotional interview, she said: "My mum said to me, 'Laura this happened to me.' And part of me was like, 'I'm so glad you're sharing it, but why did it take for me to go through it?' I just wish everyone was a lot more open." She added: "The reasons for me coming out and speaking about it was to show that it's not something to be ashamed of.
"It happens to one out of three pregnancies - that's a lot - and so I just needed the reassurance. I needed someone to tell me that it would be OK. So I'm glad that she did share it with me."

Myleene, 46, then said that the topic is something "a lot of people can relate to" as she shared her own experience. "I've had that nightmare four times. It's the worst," she told Laura, before bursting into floods of tears.
The former Hear'Say singer was comforted by her co-stars, with Nadia Sawalha saying: "The pain and the grief never leaves you."
Myleene continued: "What's just so shocking is, it's just such an isolating experience. You're bleeding, alone. You're walking out of a hospital - you were pregnant when you went in, you're meant to walk out with a baby - you walk out with nothing.
"And yet, we say to people at least you can get pregnant again, you can try again, it was just cells, at least it wasn't a baby...
"Through something called microcyronism. You carry those cells in your body right now and subsequently the baby you go on to have carries those cells too. When I hug my baby I hug seven children."
After losing four babies, Myleene - who is mum to daughters Ava, 16, and Hero, 16, with ex-husband Graham Quinn and has son Apollo, three, with partner Simon Motson - launched a campaign to help other women.
Meanwhile, Laura is mum to sons Albie, seven, and Monty, one, with husband and fellow cyclist Jason Kenny. Following her tragic miscarriage in 2021, Laura experienced an ectopic pregnancy a year later, which occurs when the embryo outside the lining of the uterus.
