Kim Kardashian is *unrecognisable* with red hair and freckles
With the change of season, we're all thinking about how to switch up our look: whether it's opting for a darker, more autumnal hair colour as the evenings draw in or undergoing a major chop.
And it seems like our fave celebs are not immune to the same impulse. In fact, recent weeks have seen a slew of familiar faces switch up their signature locks – by and large, in favour of a bob.
Yes, the bob is running amok. Whether it's Nicola Peltz Beckham rocking a dark, wispy bob that's giving all kinds of 90s Posh Spice, Matilda Djerf ditching her signature bombshell blowout for a sleek bob, or EmRata debuting shoulder-length curls for a Self Portrait campaign, it seems like the hair mantra for Autumn 2024 is "the shorter, the better".
But for those of us who remain devoted to the cult of long hair, do not fear: there are some celebs still flying the flag for bum-grazing locks. This includes Zendaya, who recently shared an IG carousel displaying her flowing hair but it also — as it turns out — includes none other than Kim Kardashian.
After posting pics of a 90s-style flicky bob she has done a complete hair 180 and debuted another major hair transformation: looooooong af red hair.
Yep, we kid you not! In new pics posted to IG to promote her Silk Matte Lip Color lipstick (it's dropping on 29 October if you're interested, FYI), Kim can be seen rocking waist-length, poker-straight auburn hair featuring a deep centre part. And if you zoom in, you can see that light brown freckles are visible across the bridge of her nose.
Of course, we're pretty sure that this look — created by Kim's hair stylist Jake Gallagher is a wig, allowing Kim to switch it up without committing to the upkeep required when undergoing a major dye transformation.
