Kendall and Kylie Jenner's coordinating sister style features boob and bum cut-outs
It was a busy weekend for drool-worthy red carpet moments. From Zendaya and Dua Lipa both slaying with stunning 'fits at the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony honouring music icon Cher, to all the A-list celebrities attending the Fourth Annual Academy Museum Gala on Saturday night [19 October]. Though it was Kendall and Kylie Jenner's looks at the latter we can't stop thinking about.
The two youngest members of the Kardashian-Jenner famous family have long shared a sartorial sensibility. Who could forget their 2019 Met Gala feathered frocks in bright, eye-catching purple and orange colourways? More recently, the sisters partied in Las Vegas, both getting the figure-hugging 'fits memo. Yep, we love a matching moment, so it was a sweet surprise to see Kendall and Kylie arrive at the glamorous event together – and in coordinating looks no less.
Kendall wowed in a black velvet column gown that looked like it was made for her statuesque model figure. From Schiaparelli's SS24 Couture collection, the halterneck design was embellished with a sparkly brooch and had so many sculptural chest and rib cut-outs scattered across the bodice, flashing major underboob in the process.
Diamond stud earrings along with a thin pavé band worn on her pinky finger were her only accessories. Continuing to rep her newly-dyed blonde hair, Kendall's lighter locks were styled in a deep side part and old Hollywood waves à la Marilyn Monroe.
Meanwhile, Kylie pulled from the archives for her attire. The vintage Mugler Couture creation, from the designer's SS98 collection, was a naked illusion dress constructed from sheer nude sequins with a black skirt featuring huge hip cut-outs overlaid on top of the sparkly fabric. The reversed cut-outs and similar silhouette synchronising perfectly with her big sister's look.
Kylie added extra bling with oversized stud earrings and no less than three giant diamond cocktail rings. As for her beauty look, her side-part and loose touselled waves were a modern version of Kendall's 'do to further align their styles for the night.
Joining up with their other sister, Kim Kardashian, later at the event, we've no doubt a suitably stylish night was had by all.
